This identity was created at the request of a former Parisian skateboarder, who wanted a visual style that felt both modern and elegant while staying connected to skate culture. The project focused on a authentic approach, balancing simplicity and credibility. Although the skateshop never came to life, the concept felt strong and coherent enough to be presented here as a highlight.

Both the icon and the typography are entirely hand-drawn to preserve an authentic, human feel and to reflect the raw, expressive nature of skateboarding.
The N and Y of the icon are designed to merge and form a crown, a subtle symbol of legitimacy, experience, and respect earned through years.
This handcrafted approach avoids anything overly polished, reinforcing a sense of independence and personality.

PATTERN SYSTEM

I created a graphic pattern derived directly from the brand’s typography. The logo was deconstructed into square modules and recomposed into a repeatable motif, creating a structured yet deconstructed visual language that reinforces the brand’s identity.
I designed the number 9 by extracting and refining it from the handwritten logotype. The symbol preserves the original gesture of the lettering while transforming it into a clear, standalone visual element.
